Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications

Lead design and development activities based on system requirements

Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies

Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology

Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations

Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation

Guide system development and implementation planning through the assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans

Interact with government entities regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and resolve associated problems, issues, or conflicts

Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility

Communicate effectively with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives

Required

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph

Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university

20+ years of experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity

5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts

Exposure to Azure/AWS/VMs

Knowledge of databases and data modeling

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Experience or be familiar with several of the below technologies: Jira, CI/CD, DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible/Salt/orchestration tools, Linux, Networking appliances and applications, Python/Django, Java, JavaScript, Angular/React, Elasticsearch/Spunk/SIEM, Monitoring tools

Preferred

Additional experience and expertise in the listed technologies and methodologies

Self-starter with a motivated and proactive attitude

Advanced degree in a related field

Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator)
