Responsibilities

Consulting with program management, design engineers, quality assurance, and production teams to develop the most efficient and cost-effective means of producing products at the highest quality possible
Reviewing engineering designs for producibility and overseeing all aspects of design conception through implementation
Developing tooling and fixtures, work instructions, and production processes and procedures
Applying manufacturing technologies and industry best practices during the design and development of new products and processes throughout the product lifecycle

Required

Bachelor's of Science degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Familiarity with applying and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
Capability of working in multi-disciplinary teams
Experience with work instruction/traveler development
Exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience in wiring, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems
Knowledge of assembling and installing connectors, harnesses, and other electronic components
Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Aircraft Modification experience highly preferred
Participation in dispositions of Non-Conformance generation through a Material Review Board (MRB)
Experience with new product introduction and transition to production
Experience with aircraft modification
Experience interacting with shop floor personal from project conception through implementation
