Noble Plastics is a company focused on tooling and maintenance, and they are seeking a Setup Technician to perform and coordinate activities related to preventative maintenance and repairs. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical systems, maintaining tooling records, and coordinating with production schedules to ensure asset readiness.

Responsibilities

Remove injection molds/Install injection molds

Prepare molds for service

Document mold maintenance, repairs, and modifications

Troubleshoot mechanical systems on presses & support equipment

Maintain tools and equipment necessary to perform repair & maintenance of mechanical systems

Coordinate with production priorities

Daily tooling/machine troubleshooting

Request schedule adjustments

Load press programs

Initialize production runs

Additional duties as assigned by Management

Required

Per requirements in our ITAR-regulated government contract, this position is restricted to U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, and refugees) due to the need to access controlled technology

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Must sign a confidentiality/non-compete agreement

Strong computer software skills (MS Excel/Word/Outlook)

Must be capable of standing/walking for entire shift

Must be English fluent in reading and writing

Must be capable of lifting up to 55 lbs

Must be visual and auditory capable in industrial setting

Must have excellent print reading skills

Proficient in use of measuring tools, hand tools, with strong mathematical and mechanical skills

Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical devices

2- or 4-year Industrial Technology or Auto Mechanic certification or degree
