Responsibilities

Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and other SAP modules

Manage SAP system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates

Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of SAP applications

Administer databases supporting SAP systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA)

Perform database backups, restores, and optimization tasks

Ensure database security and integrity

Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems

Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with organizational policies

Diagnose and resolve SAP system issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and application errors

Provide technical support to end-users and stakeholders

Utilize monitoring tools to track system health and performance (e.g., Solution Manager)

Generate reports on system usage, performance metrics, and incidents

Work closely with functional teams, developers, and infrastructure teams to support business requirements

Communicate technical solutions and updates to stakeholders effectively

Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures

Develop and implement best practices for SAP Basis administration
