Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth cash flow analyses and proactively adjust asset allocations to help clients achieve their unique financial goals
Play an integral role in managing client portfolios, fostering loyalty, and supporting the growth of our business
Review client investment reviews both internally and externally
Execute strategic asset allocation changes, rebalance portfolios, and implement investment recommendations in collaboration with Senior Relationship Manager
Prepare insightful performance reports, address liquidity needs, and manage tax strategies and manager transitions to enhance client results
Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve complex issues, and build direct client relationships—gaining greater independence as you grow in the role
Gather and analyze data on investment strategies, portfolio performance, and market trends to inform and engage clients and prospects
Uphold the highest standards by implementing robust operational and compliance controls in alignment with CIBC’s requirements
Work closely with internal partners to deliver seamless, professional, and timely service to our valued clients

Required

10-15+ years of financial services experience, ideally with exposure to client relationship management
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
Strong understanding of global financial markets, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments
Expertise in asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk-return analytics, performance measurement, and compliant reporting
Advanced in Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity in trust accounting systems, primarily SEI, trading systems (e.g., CRD), and FACTSET
Excel at preparing professional performance reports and engaging with clients to address complex issues
Thrive in a collaborative team structure while operating independently to complete assigned responsibilities
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
