OT/SCADA Infrastructure Lead Engineer

Responsibilities
Consults with users, IT management, and staff to identify and define systems, network, and security infrastructure requirements based on requests or projects for changes, updates, and modifications to network, enterprise applications, and systems infrastructure and security
Coordinates and prioritizes teamwork assignments, providing managerial direction and leadership to team members and other IT staff to ensure achievement of goals and objectives within company policies and procedures
Provides advanced technical support in research, business analysis, and use of systems technology and provides managerial direction and leadership to colleagues and other Information Technology (IT) support staff
Coordinates and finalizes project work plans, development of service request cost and time estimates, and the development of management reports on projects and performance metrics
Ensures network, security, enterprise applications, and systems infrastructure are operating within governing IT policies and service level agreements
Reviews and approves documentation of new or modified systems and networks; provides a detailed description for reference; ensures compliance with governing IT policies
Coordinates staffing levels to ensure proper administration of team related activities and provides guidance on network infrastructure management practices
Trains, develops, and evaluates performance of assigned team members
Monitors team activities and assignment/project progress related to technical information research, analyses, standards development, administration, maintenance, problem resolution, and prioritizations
Responsible for organization and presentation of IT related planning, deployment activities, and performance for regular reviews by IT management
Ensures systems are operating within governing IT policies and service level agreements
Coordinates and approves the use of internal teams, external technical support, and vendor-based support to provide high levels of administrative, problem resolution, and maintenance activities for existing networks, systems, and applications
Ensures projects comply with IT policies and procedures and service level agreements
Coordinates training, technical development, and technical information related to formal/informal end-user, IT staff, and management training to keep team abreast of new and changing industry practices and company policies and procedures
Researches and presents technical information relating to industry practices in IT related disciplines, regulations, trends, and administration processes
Provides recommendations for changes or enhancements to IT management and Enterprise Architecture
Acts as liaison with outside organizations and/or vendors in the development of Information Technology programs that enhance and ensure adhere with company policies and procedures, service level agreements, and changing demand
Provides support for the planning and budgeting of enterprise IT infrastructure and environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
Five years of experience in computer programming and operating systems analysis
Ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers to obtain and/or provide explanations and/or information on technical concepts
Ability to perform analyses involving ratios, percentages, and simple statistical methods
High level of computer skills to use various software packages
Familiarity with hardware configurations to perform systems administration
Ability to coordinate and prioritize teamwork assignments
Ability to provide managerial direction and leadership to team members and other IT staff
Ability to provide advanced technical support in research, business analysis, and use of systems technology
Ability to coordinate and finalize project work plans
Ability to review and approve documentation of new or modified systems and networks
Ability to monitor team activities and assignment/project progress
