Global ISR Sensors & Software Program Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

Lead teams of engineers to deliver on complex programs
Take responsibility for cost and schedule of technical tasks on said program
Support manufacturing, Integration and Test, Aircraft Integration, Delivery Support and Post Delivery Support teams with technical expertise to assist them in accomplishing their tasks on schedule and within allowable budget
Fill a customer facing role with both foreign and domestic customers
Balance the needs of the company with the needs of the customer to deliver a high-quality product that meets customer requirements
Comply with engineering development processes and program development life cycles

Required

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
Experience in all phases of development program lifecycle
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including systems, electrical, mechanical, software
Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines with a strong focus on sensor systems development & integration
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred

Experience as Project Engineer, Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead, or comparable role
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams of system design professionals including systems, electrical, mechanical, software
Program Management skills such as Integrated Master Schedule Development, Cost Account Management, Earned Value Management
Experience with sensor and avionics equipment integration on airborne platforms
Experience coordinating and executing System Integration Lab and Flight Test qualification events
