REGISTERED NURSE (Mott Childrens Hospital-10W, Pediatric Cardio-Thoracic Unit GN Internship)

Responsibilities
Cares for patients in a technology intensive environment including ECMO, CRRT and VAD's
Perform complex physiologic patient assessments in a high intensity environment for high acuity patients with rapidly changing status
Provide individual support and education to families and patients throughout their intensive care unit admission
Qualification
Required
MUST be able to start on March 12, 2026
Graduate Nurse or Newly Licensed RN, who has not practiced as a RN. Applicant must have successfully completed an accredited BSN
Successful completion of the NCLEX must occur no later than 45 days from the individual start date
PALS certification is required (or within six (6) months of date of hire) or MUST be completed prior to end of probationary period
Preferred
Student nurse clinical experience in a PCTU
Experience as an extern or ICU tech in a PCTU
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills
Highly motivated and organized
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Takes initiative in seeking professional growth
Demonstrates expertise in communication and problem-solving skills as evidenced by interviews, documentation, writing skills, and references
Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
