Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the design community
Conduct showroom appointments and consultations to guide clients through rug selections that meet their project briefs
Support the Sales Director and Sales Team with quotes, sampling and client follow-up
Work closely with assigned independent representatives, providing timely communication, updates, and management of their sales pipeline to help secure and win projects
Answer phone calls to assist clients directly or route inquiries to the appropriate team member to ensure prompt and professional service
Collaborate with internal departments—Production, Operations, Marketing—to ensure accuracy and timely project completion
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and showroom engagement
Manage CRM records and project tracking with accuracy and attention to detail
Provide showroom support including greeting clients, coordinating shipments, and general administrative tasks
Uphold the Marc Phillips standard of excellence through proactive communication and team collaboration

Required

2-5 years of sales, account management, or client relations experience in the interior design, luxury furnishings, or textiles industry
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with client-centered approach
Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time management skills
Creative problem-solving ability and an appreciation for design, craftsmanship, and materials
Knowledge of color texture and rug construction is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Mac OS
Experience with CRM systems, such as SalesForce
Team player with a positive, collaborative attitude and professional demeanor
