Responsibilities
Oversee quality and development of North American suppliers across stamped, bent, welded, machined, and painted components, including part approval and supplier audits
Support supplier development and provide training on PALFINGER products, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with company standards
Serve as a technical resource for suppliers and PALFINGER facilities, offering guidance, troubleshooting, and product reviews
Monitor and resolve supplier claims (NCRs) and provide input on quality strategy to the Procurement team
Collaborate in cross-functional teams, support cost-saving initiatives, and travel to suppliers or PALFINGER facilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred, with a strong quality and commercial mindset, plus 2–3 years of hands-on technical experience in industrial manufacturing processes
Knowledge and experience with Quality Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA), auditing, root cause/corrective action, and supplier or customer interactions; ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus
Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge preferred; fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is advantageous
Proactive problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement, team collaboration, and achieving organizational goals
Ability to manage workload, prioritize tasks effectively, handle conflicts professionally, and travel frequently (50–75%, including internationally)
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
SAP knowledge preferred
Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is advantageous
