Research Laboratory Tech Sr

They are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Dr. Rocha's lab to conduct research on aging and its impact on cardiovascular function using stem cell models and animal studies.

Responsibilities
Perform stem cell culture, maintenance and stem cell directed differentiation
Perform experiments with animal models
Perform more complex experimental procedures such as optical mapping, Q-PCR, western blots, ELISA, immunofluorescence, microscopy and image analysis
Execute designated experiments and perform basic translation and interpretation data
Assist in some report writing and responsible for completing lab documentation for safety inspections
Greater autonomy in conducting and assisting in the design of phases of research projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree
2-3 years of experience
Preferred
Masters in related area
