Responsibilities
Drive AI software and hardware designs based on customer requirements and required infrastructure and address business outcome requirements with AI guidance across software and hardware options that scale based on datacenter and business requirements
Serve as a subject matter expert on generative AI, agents, and agentic architectures, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to the product teams
Explore and drive use cases and develop proof of concepts to demonstrate the value of incorporating AI and AI agents into the ISG portfolio of products and solutions
Stay current with the latest AI advancements and proactively apply new technologies to enhance solutions and committed to drive innovation and generate IP which may include participating in strategic internal and industry forums and be a point of escalation for critical development issues
Generate Intellectual Property including invention disclosures and provide expertise on multiple AI technologies and shape future products along with maintaining multi-year roadmaps detailing feature trade-offs and host regular technology reviews to ensure roadmap and Dell business objectives alignment
Qualification
Required
Ability to Drive model selection and advise in architectural trade-offs and implication against customer targeted outcomes
Deep knowledge in open-source and commercial AI workflow applications and their implications across compute, network and storage
Working experience with Enterprise cluster deployments, AI workflows for training and inferencing use cases along with a solid understanding of computer architecture to include Central Processing Unit (CPU) accelerators, networking, storage and benchmarking
10+ years' experience of applied science or complex software systems, especially involving deep learning, machine learning, LLMs that have been successfully delivered
Strong software development skills, particularly in Python, with experience working with AI frameworks and tools in cloud environments; knowledge of ML, NLP, Information Retrieval, Recommender Systems and LLMs along with designing and developing multi-agent systems where multiple AI agents collaborate to achieve complex tasks and experience with container & orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), training, fine-tuning, and applying large language models (LLMs) for agentic AI application
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and effect changes that have broad and long-term impact and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, innovate and lead explorations into technologies and strategies, including familiarity of a broad range of industry trends, with experience designing the future state and roadmap recommendations and develop technical relationships with the vendor base for core technology or solutions to drive requirements into next generation vendor designs
Preferred
Masters, PhD or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Publication of research papers, patents, or contributions to open-source projects
Recognition as a thought leader in AI, ML, or NLP fields is highly valued
