Responsibilities
Provide swimming lessons to groups, schools and individuals within the Bay of Isles Swim School Program guidelines
Work to ensure a professional, safe, fun and educational environment is maintained
Supervise students during swim classes at the highest standard of safety
Providing the highest level of safety and supervision for the patrons of the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre aquatic area
Ensure the Centre is set up, clean and safe for customers at all times
Administering first aid if and when required
Instructs and conducts health and fitness programs and classes
Undertaking basic fitness assessments for patrons of the Leisure Centre
Showing and demonstrating to clients the correct usage of gymnasium equipment
Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic approach to conducting classes
Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to the patrons of the Centre
Serving customers
Preparing food and drinks including hot chips and coffees
Qualification
Required
a current Austswim Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate or equivalent
a current Working With Children Check
a current Apply First Aid Certificate
A current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
A current Provide First Aid Certificate
Experience in supervision of aquatic areas
Excellent customer service skills
a current satisfactory Police Clearance Certificate
