Responsibilities
Drive employee engagement through morale initiatives, effective discipline practices, and benefits/payroll support (including terminations and changes)
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Department of Health standards
Lead recruitment efforts: source, screen, and interview candidates to secure top talent
Manage core HR functions, including I-9 documentation, workers’ compensation, disability claims, and FMLA administration
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years in Human Resources
Strong communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented approach
Proactive approach
Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of integrity and discretion
Preferred
Skilled nursing experience
Experience working in a unionized environment
