The role involves performing general food service tasks and assisting residents in dining areas, ensuring a supportive and professional environment.

Responsibilities
Preparing and filling dispensers for iced tea and coffee for meals
Filling juices to prepare for meals
Serve meals using appropriate dietary serving sizes
Sets up and cleans up Dining Service areas both before and after meals
Prepare certain foods to accompany meals such as sandwiches, eggs, toast, etc. to accompany meals
Assists residents while in dining/serving areas with various needs
Documents food temperatures as required
Qualification
Required
Must have a good attitude and remain professional to support a team environment and to support residents while in dining areas
30-pound lift requirement
Preferred
Prior food service experience is preferred but not required
High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience in food preparation – adequate to understand and manage volume food preparation and service
Serv-Safe Certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days
Experience working with individual living with dementia preferred
