Responsibilities

Supervising teams that resolve claim errors
Preparing custom medical record and appeal submission letters
Supporting patient billing activities
Developing, guiding, and supporting team members through each stage of the revenue cycle
Ensuring productivity and quality metrics are achieved
Working closely with the Reimbursement Manager to execute strategies that support optimal reimbursement outcomes
Overseeing day-to-day team operations
Monitoring workflows
Troubleshooting issues to ensure timely task completion
Implementing effective claim adjudication strategies
Providing hands-on training and support to meet or exceed performance standards
Reviewing and approving Paid Time Off (PTO) requests while maintaining adequate staffing coverage
Conducting regular one-on-one meetings to reinforce expectations, maintain open communication, and foster a collaborative leadership environment

Health insurance billingRevenue cycle managementSupervisory experienceCollaboration with stakeholdersResearching payor websites

Required

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Minimum of five years of health insurance billing experience
Minimum of five years in a supervisor role
Experience collaborating with patients, providers, and insurance plans throughout the revenue cycle
Experience researching and utilizing payor and state websites to obtain content and develop custom reimbursement materials
