Responsibilities
Audit the accuracy of demographic information in the Billing System to ensure clean billing and prompt payment
Direct nursing center Business Office Manager to make any applicable updates in PCC. Independently ensure errors are corrected before batching
Make independent decisions on the next steps needed to ensure claims are paid timely to ensure cash flow for each center
Identify any global payer issues and bring to Central Billing Office Management's attention
Manage all claim projects to completion that are submitted to contracted insurance carriers or the state
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or four or more years' experience in accounting, billing, or collections in a healthcare environment
