Responsibilities
Deploy, monitor, and support applications in a Kubernetes multi-tenant environment and promote the overall stability of the systems through system monitoring, proper change control management, and implementation of best practices to maintain production environment
Support Gitlab Pipelines and Terraform to manage IaC across several Microsoft Azure resources/services
Research opportunities for automation, troubleshooting issues as reported by users and implement migrations, upgrades, and patches in all environments
Interact efficiently with the business and development teams at all levels and establish the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems (Database, UNIX, Cloud, etc.) and provide occasional on-call or weekend support for critical activities during non-production hours
Qualification
Required
a bachelor's degree and ideally, 5+ years of work experience in an Information Technology field
deep understanding of SRE Concepts, passionate about SRE transformation and excellent knowledge of Cloud architecture, especially MS Azure
working knowledge of key Azure technologies like Virtual Machines, KeyVaults, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, and Hub Networks
capable of maintaining complex Kubernetes ecosystems including Ingress, Service Mesh, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, etc
solid experience with LINUX containers & Kubernetes, with a good grasp of cloud networking protocols and proficient with DevOps Tools (GITLAB, Azure DevOps, Nexus) with all phases of modern DevOps pipelines
experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible and strong knowledge in administering and restoring application services within a complex and secured banking environment
practical experience in defining and building automation routines to improve the stability and quality of production service and familiarity with microservices architecture and experience in building RESTful Service
excellent knowledge in programming languages such as Python, bash, and PowerShell and strong understanding of database platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Azure SQL
