Responsibilities

Play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets
Be responsible for analyzing vast amounts of security data to answer complex proactive scenarios involving threats, vulnerabilities, trends, and compensating controls
Contribute to the enhancement of our cybersecurity posture
Leverage your analytical skills across data and summarize your analysis and corresponding findings to be consumed by our Cybersecurity and Technology partners to better understand the impacts of threats to our organization

Qualification

Required

ideally 5 years of hands-on experience with highly proficient data analysis and/or data engineering skills
ideally 3 years' experience with Cybersecurity data domain knowledge and familiarity with cyber threats, risks and controls to mitigate them
data query languages (such as SQL, GraphQL and Pandas)
self-driven problem solving, assumption challenging and analysis skills and able to develop and implement data analysis methodologies for anomaly and trend identification, pairing with control event data to demonstrate threat / risk mitigation
automation capability leveraging scripting languages

Preferred

Azure implementations (i.e. Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions)
Splunk querying (SPL) and dashboard creation experience
Visualization experience in Tableau or PowerBI
Python programming language experience (outside of Pandas and automation scripting)
Machine Learning methods (but not limited to NLP, clustering, regression)
previous experience within a regulated industry such as finance or healthcare
strong analytical skills
a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, tactics, and proficiency in data analysis techniques
