Responsibilities

Serves as the DISA Liaison and Point of Contact (POC) to lead modernization programs and assist with the introduction of new technologies to increase and enhance capabilities of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN)
Supports and directs system studies and analyses of UK Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems
Supports and directs system studies and analyses as requested by DoD (CIO), Allied Command Operations, or other appropriate U.S. or United Kingdom (UK) Ministry of Defense (MOD) organizations
Analyzes interoperability shortfalls between U.S. and United Kingdom (UK) such as C4ISR and Information Technology (IT) systems and services and develops standards, profiles, architectures, protocols, data formats
Supports the UK Information Systems and Services (ISS) in the development and integration of strategic plans, system designs, directives, and policies
Establishes and maintains effective dialogue with appropriate personnel within the U.S. and UKC4ISR and IT communities, including senior-level decision makers
Serves as Special Security Representative (SSR) with responsibility for managing incoming/outgoing Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Collateral courier services, coordinating Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility(SCIF)
This position is subject to Cyber Workforce requirements as defined by the DoD 8140 policy series for the position's required CYBER Work Role(s)

This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination
This is Drug Testing Position
This position requires a Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
This position has been designated as Mission Essential
Attention to Detail - experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been responsible for reviewing the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards
Customer Service - developing and maintaining relationships with customers, anticipating and assessing the current and future information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products or services that are tailored to meet customer needs
Oral Communication - briefing senior-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of complex technical information to a non-technical audience
Problem Solving - identifying alternatives to address unique, highly complex, or sensitive information technology-related issues. I have anticipated information technology-related problems and have identified and evaluated potential sources of information to generate alternative solutions
To qualify at the GG-14, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: experience in applying an organizational oversight framework to manage integrated IT systems, using design concepts for IT solutions, and managing IT infrastructure; experience leading multifunctional development projects using established project management principles and methods
