Responsibilities
Design and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) focused on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
Architect, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins
Establish Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Datadog, ELK, or Dynatrace)
Partner with application development teams to enhance deployment and release processes
Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies that align with enterprise architecture and business priorities
Contribute to reference architectures, design documentation, and hands-on coding when needed
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective, standardized technical solutions
Promote engineering excellence, operational consistency, and adherence to security and compliance standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Architecture, or SRE roles
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services and Infrastructure as Code (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation)
Deep proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and integration with cloud tools
Proven experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins
Expertise with microservices, serverless architectures, and hybrid cloud deployments
Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes)
Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, or ELK
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to translate complex concepts for business users
Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred
Experience in financial services, asset management, or capital markets technology environments
Familiarity with Python-based application stacks (Django, Pandas, NumPy, etc.)
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead by example in fast-paced settings
Knowledge of cost optimization, performance tuning, and security best practices in AWS
