American Conservation Experience is a nonprofit Conservation Corps seeking a Digital Data and Multimedia Collections Intern to support quality control of database records alongside California State Parks Cultural Resources Division Staff. The intern will assist in updating and standardizing museum database records in preparation for a statewide online collections platform, facilitating professional development and exposure to land management agencies.

Responsibilities

Assist the Statewide Museum Collections Database Administrator in performing quality control of database records

Update and standardize museum database records in support of Tribal Lands Program projects in the database (The Museum System - TMS)

Scan documents and update media records in the database

Coordinate with collections managers to reconcile museum database records

ACE Members will need to complete bi-weekly timesheets, beginning of term feedback forms, end of term evaluations and for longer terms, a mid-term evaluation
