They are seeking a Field Dock & Door Service Technician responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing warehouse docks and doors, while ensuring operational safety standards are met.
Construction
Responsibilities
Repair Warehouse Docks and Rollup Doors to bring each customer's facility back to operational safety standards through safety protocols, evaluating repair needs, and communicating those effectively with the customer
Performing New Installation on Dock and Door projects
Effectively communicate with all involved parties about possible downtime and job progress to include the Warehouse Products team so that they may also provide quality customer service and customer communications
Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
Minimum 1 year experience installing and repairing loading dock equipment, commercial doors, and high-speed doors preferred
Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving record
Above-average communication skills
Ability to complete DOT medical certification if assigned DOT-rated vehicle
High School diploma or equivalent
Possessing or having the ability to obtain a complete line of tools
Preferred
Electrical experience, including proper use of a multimeter
General knowledge of operating various equipment
Ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
