The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases, ensuring their performance, availability, and security while collaborating with various stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions
Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other techniques
Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for database security and backup
Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with business applications
Develop ETL processes to import/export data between systems
Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and processes
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a SQL Server Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server tools (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS)
Experience with performance tuning and optimization
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based SQL services (e.g., Azure SQL Database)
Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Understanding of Agile development methodologies
