They are seeking a Business Risk Analyst to support the IB Americas region in supervisory activities, focusing on managing supervisory controls and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective execution of supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Run daily controls to identify ageing Supervision exceptions, and proactively address and manage to keep the volume of exceptions below threshold
Manage the Supervisory Control Portal (SCP) tool and contribute to the development of the tool and supervision processes
Provide daily support for SCP processes including queries from and interaction with supervisors, business management, control functions and audit/regulators
Act as a local point of contact within IB BRM Americas, working closely with the business, our logistics and control partners across a broad spectrum of supervisory objectives
Perform Key Procedural Controls, test and monitor the delivery of the front to back control environment by driving best practice for controls design and operating effectiveness
Deliver Front Office SCP training to Supervisors: setting up and training new Supervisors
Work collaboratively with Investment Bank COO team to ensure the effective execution of supervision responsibilities, participating in the relevant COO forums where appropriate
Take an active role in change initiatives working closely with stakeholders across the Investment Bank COO and other functions globally
Qualification
Required
a degree or professional education equivalent, with prior experience in a control, logistics function or a business management support role
strong presentation and organizational skills with an ability to effectively interact with global colleagues at all levels
a strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver to deadline
proven analytical and problem solving skills, with high attention to detail
proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point
able to work under pressure and prepared to take ownership of tasks assigned
comfortable working independently, as well as in a collaborative environment, with sound judgment for when to escalate issues
Preferred
Knowledge of Alteryx is an advantage
