Responsibilities

Prepare transaction memos to support the Commercial Real Estate Center of Excellence decisions and approvals across asset classes
Hold delegated personal authority (within established risk-based limits) to approve new positions or to make recommendations to higher authority levels within Credit
Prepare, as well as review and approve, written counterparty annual reviews/transactional credit proposals drawing conclusions relating to credit assessment, risk appetite, exposure drivers and business prospects
Ensure all regulatory requests, audit items and operational risk issues are dealt with in a disciplined, timely and efficient manner
Perform ad hoc credit risk analysis and participate in portfolio reviews to identify risk developments or concentrations

Required

a Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, preferably in accounting, finance, economics or mathematics
ideally 4-6 years of experience and demonstrated expertise in a similar position in commercial real estate
established quantitative risk analysis skills employed in a credit risk, market risk or trading environment
excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate directly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders is of critical importance to the role
a team player with strong interpersonal skills to establish trustworthy relationships with internal peers, business, and senior management
