3+ years expPamTen Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst/Data Analyst to support data conversion initiatives within policy administration and complex P&C claims systems. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration across multiple teams to ensure accurate data migration.

Responsibilities
Partner with SMEs, ETL/engineering, QA, and operations, and use SQL daily to profile, reconcile, and prove outcomes
Elicit conversion rules, edge cases, and data quality tolerances; define acceptance criteria
Produce source-to-target mapping (S2T), code crosswalks, and transformation rules with examples
Write pseudo code for complex transformations; maintain data dictionaries and lineage
Define balancing logic (control totals, record counts, financial sums—premium, reserves, payments)
Must be proficient in authoring simple to complex SQL queries to profile data, locate anomalies, and validate field-level conversions
Build reconciliation queries (counts/sums by key), difference checks (source vs. target), and exception lists
Define test scenarios/cases; support mock runs, triage defects, and track remediation
Prepare sign-off packs with evidence (SQL outputs, balancing sheets, variances with rationale)
Contribute to runbooks, rollback criteria, checkpoints, and post-cutover validation
Qualification
Required
3–7+ years in insurance data conversions (policy admin and/or claims), with strong understanding of policy lifecycle, coverages, endorsements, losses/reserves, payments, and financial controls and Insurance claim system
Advanced SQL (SQL Server preferred; Oracle welcome): complex joins, window functions, aggregations, set-based comparisons, performance-minded query design
Proven experience delivering S2T mappings, pseudo code, and reconciliation/balancing artifacts for multiple mock conversions and go-live
Hands-on data validation and UAT support; clear documentation and stakeholder communication
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
