Responsibilities
Design and develop automation suites covering:
Web UI applications
API / Web Services automation (REST & SOAP)
Database validations using SQL queries
Desktop automation using Tosca & Vision AI
Mobile automation using Tricentis Mobile (Mobile+ or Device Cloud)
Develop scalable frameworks using Tosca:
Templates
TestCaseDesign (TCD)
ExecutionLists (Exe)
Reusable libraries/modules
Hands-on experience in mobile test automation using Tricentis tools
Create automation for both iOS and Android applications (simulators/emulators or real devices)
Strong understanding of mobile UI behaviors, gestures, locators, and object handling
Experience with Tricentis Mobile Automation Engine / Mobile+ / Device Cloud
Strong experience with Tosca:
XScan
API Scan
TDM
TestCaseDesign
Vision AI
Manage test data through TDM and data-driven testing via TCD
Work on large-scale integration projects, validating data flow between multiple systems
Support API-to-UI and multi-system E2E testing
Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies – standup, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retro
Provide clear reporting, documentation, and test execution status
Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
Maintain execution runs and logs in qTest (qTest integration is mandatory)
Qualification
Required
Tricentis Tosca AS1 & AS2 Certifications
Strong hands-on experience in: UI automation
API/Web services automation
SQL queries & DB validations
Desktop automation using Vision AI
Mobile automation using Tricentis Mobile tools
Templates, TCD, ExecutionLists
qTest integration
Solid working knowledge of Agile methodologies and integration testing
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently in fast-paced Agile environments
Preferred
AE1, AE2-Preferred
Experience with cloud-based device labs (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Tricentis Device Cloud)
Scripting knowledge (Python/Java) for utilities or integrations
Knowledge of telecom or large enterprise integration flows
