Responsibilities

Identification, collection, extraction of data from various sources, including internal and external sources

Performing data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure its quality and suitability for analysis

Development and maintenance of efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing

Design and conduct of statistical and machine learning models to analyse patterns, trends, and relationships in the data

Development and implementation of predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science

Required

Proficiency in SAS and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of strategic processes

Practical experience with Oracle and Hadoop databases, including querying, data extraction, and performance optimization

Demonstrated success in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Validation Testing (PVT) to ensure solution integrity

A history of resolving production issues quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability

Preferred

Excellent documentation skills to clearly capture business requirements and technical specifications

Ample communication and collaboration abilities, especially when working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in reporting and analysis

Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities

Curiosity and a continuous learning attitude, especially around emerging technologies and credit strategy trends
