Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze cloud-related spend across AWS, Azure, GCP, or other platforms

Build and maintain cost impact models to evaluate modernization decisions

Partner with engineering and operations to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with budgetary targets

Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing cloud spend and resource allocation

Prepare and distribute Monthly Cloud Spend Reports with variance analysis against budget and forecast

Develop and maintain financial forecasts for cloud migration and ongoing cloud operations

Identify cost trends, potential overruns, and opportunities for savings

Collaborate with procurement and finance to ensure accurate accruals and cost allocations

Support governance processes for cloud financial management, including budget approvals and cost allocation strategies

Serve as a finance liaison to project management and technical teams during all phases of migration

Maintain compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and reporting standards
