Responsibilities
Data Exploration and Analysis: Acquire, clean, and analyze complex datasets from a variety of sources using advanced statistical techniques. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic business decisions
Model Development: Build, evaluate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models. Continuously refine models based on new data and feedback from stakeholders
Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design and create dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports to communicate findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT professionals, and product teams to understand requirements, deliver insights, and provide data-driven recommendations
Process Improvement: Evaluate existing data processes and recommend enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and analysis efficiency
Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging trends in analytics, machine learning, and data visualization. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree – preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field
Professional certification in data analytics, data science, or related areas (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate) also considered
3-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science roles
Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Skills in statistical programming languages such as Python or R preferred
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Background in A/B testing, experiment design, and causal inference
Demonstrated ability to apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to solve complex business problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences
Creative thinker with a passion for tackling ambiguous business challenges and generating actionable insights
Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to changing business needs
Commitment to data privacy, ethical analytics, and responsible use of information
