Development & Events Manager
Emmaus, Inc. is a non-profit agency located in Haverhill, MA, seeking a dynamic and results-driven Development Manager to lead their fundraising and development initiatives. The Development Manager will be responsible for spearheading donor relations, organizing fundraising events, and overseeing the development department.

Responsibilities
Facilitate the timely completion and submission of grant proposals to local foundations and corporations in collaboration with the senior leadership team. This includes drafting proposal narratives, preparing budgets reflective of project scope, assembling required documents /attachments, and submitting final proposals after review by the senior leadership team
Organize and lead all agency events while operating within a set budget, working with community partners, vendors, other Emmaus Inc. staff and volunteers to ensure success of events
Oversee and assist in the development and utilization of marketing materials, social media posts and press releases in collaboration with the VP of SP&A and the CEO
Manage the development of strategy and processes to cultivate, engage, solicit and steward prospects/donors to the Annual Fund and other giving opportunities
Oversee the use of software systems and email marketing programs such as Classy and Constant Contact in order to fulfill the fundraising goals
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 years' experience in development or fundraising roles, preferably within a nonprofit environment
Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and events management
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated success meeting agency fundraising goals, through diverse funding streams including individual major gifts (of at least $5,000), event donations/sponsorships, and foundation/corporate
