Responsibilities
Manage heavy discovery from end to end, including drafting requests, objections, and responses using established templates
Follow up with clients to collect documents, information, and discovery responses
Draft pleadings, complaints, and motions with attorney oversight
Handle filing, calendaring, and trial preparation tasks
Assist attorneys on cases when discovery is light or complete
Maintain accurate records and case materials across firm systems
Use AI tools to assist with formatting, drafting, and cleanup of discovery responses
Qualification
Required
5 - 10+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with a strong specialization in discovery
Hands-on experience with plaintiff-side employment law
Proven ability to draft discovery responses independently and meet deadlines consistently
Strong client communication skills with polished phone etiquette
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Comfortable working independently in a hands-off environment
Preferred
PI experience a plus
Experience with Practice Panther, Trial List, Airtable, Dropbox, and Lexis preferred
Paralegal certificate preferred
Experience working on Mac systems and leveraging AI tools is a plus
