As a VDC Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead multiple projects during the preconstruction phase, collaborating with the project management team and customers to ensure design compliance and exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple projects throughout the preconstruction phase, providing coordination and design for everything mechanical

Work with the project management team and customer to come up with design decisions that will exceed expectations

During the design process, review legal contracts, scopes of work, specifications, plans and pertinent jurisdictional codes, making sure that our projects are code and contract compliant

Qualification

Mechanical contracting experienceLocal codes knowledgeMEP coordinationConstruction safety requirementsCommunication skills

Required

At least ten (10) years of relevant Mechanical contracting experience

Excellent communication skills

Proficient knowledge of local codes and construction safety requirements (including IBC and IECC)

Preferred

Experience as a MEP coordinator or general contractor superintendent
