Responsibilities
Build and support the operation of Cloud and On-Premises enterprise systems, software, and data infrastructure and tools
Design robust, reusable, and scalable systems, software, and data driven solutions and data pipeline frameworks to automate the full life cycle
Work collaboratively with other architects, data scientists, analytics teams, and business product owners in an agile environment
Build data APIs and data delivery services to support critical operational processes, analytical models, and machine learning applications
Learn and keep pace with the latest advances in the field and rapidly grasp new technologies to support the environment and contribute to project deliverables
Work with Finance Enterprise Architect, Corporate System Technical Leads and Business SMEs to drive business solutions from ideation to implementation. This would include the following:
Assist in the design of modified/future state systems
Creation of the necessary architectural documentation
Coordinate the required implementation tasks (Infrastructure tickets, ISO, Controls, etc.)
Present all solutions at the Architecture Review Board (ARB)
Work with Finance Enterprise Architect and Corporate Systems Technical Leads to document current state systems on the future state roadmaps where documentation does not exist
Work with Finance Enterprise Architect on other required tasks (roadmaps, proofs of concept, pilots of new technologies, etc.)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, engineering, MIS, or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years collective experience in the application of architecture, enterprise roadmaps, analytics, cloud, IT strategies, innovation, SAFE, TOGAF, and data integration concepts and methodologies
Knowledge of SQL for data profiling, analysis, and extraction
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Architecting, building, and administering large-scale technology solutions and real-time streaming digital architectures
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Architecting, building, and administering large-scale distributed applications
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Linux operations and development, including CLI, basic commands, and shell scripting (Powershell/Bash)
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Architecting scalable containerized applications with container orchestration framework
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Attention to detail and results oriented with a strong customer focus
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Analytical and problem-solving skills
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Technical communication skills
One year of experience in five of the following areas: Prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines
One year of experience in five of the following areas: The ability to work in a team environment
Preferred
Experience with advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI concepts and technology implementations
Experience with data analysis and using data visualization tools to describe data
Understanding of big data and real time streaming analytics processing architecture and ecosystems
Understanding of DataLakes and data warehousing architecture and implementation, including MPP, data streams, source to target mappings and ETL
Technology or platform certifications (e.g. AWS, Microsoft)
Thorough knowledge of open API Specification, REST, API designs, Security and implementation
Software development experience in relevant programming languages (i.e. Spark, Java, Python, Scala, Node.js, SQL)
