Responsibilities
Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Supports investigating (and correct) internal issues and complaints relating to food safety and quality
Develop, motivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of salaried FSQA supervisors and technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within. Provide all employees with the necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction
Maintain accurate documentation regarding GMPs, HACCP, Holds, Calibration, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any other FSQA requirements
Coach and train FSQA employees, including Supervisors, to follow company procedures and processes, evaluate team productivity and accomplishments
Initiates RCA investigations, executes pending preventive and corrective action requests (CAPA), including nonconformities from holds, internal and external audits
Drive KPI improvements through a structured approach for continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or related leadership work experience
At least 3 years of work experience in quality assurance should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as an FSQA leader, and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies
