GTF Industrialization Lead, New DAT MRO Station (Expat)

Pratt & Whitney is working to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing advanced engines. The GTF Industrialization Lead will own and drive New DAT readiness, acting as a liaison between new DATs and PW support organizations while executing the industrialization playbook and ensuring production readiness.

Responsibilities

Execute Industrialization playbook at respective DAT’s
Lead “passport” process, evaluate (e.g., KPIs, validation checks) and drive readiness outcomes, assess risks and establish mitigations
Align on and assess progress of Production Plan(s) for initial production engines
Identify risks (proactively) and blockers (as they occur); develop, drive action plan closure within new DAT’s and/or PW
Provide or coordinate PW engagement with DATs (e.g. on-site technical, business, and operational training/support)
Document, feed lessons learned and best practices to New DAT Strategy Lead to evolve Industrialization playbook
Engage with, influence, and communicate to internal/external senior leaders regarding DAT performance, including proposed solutions or help needed
Document lessons learned and best practices during shop trainings and operations; working with Process Control & Improvement Engineers to evolve the new DAT training curriculum and/or influence Engine Manual updates to memorialize learnings and improve effectivity and efficiency of new DAT on-boarding and operations
Provide and/or coordinate on-site training for Service Bulletins, Engineering Changes, and new work scopes to support site qualification and readiness
Provide and/or coordinate regional leadership and support for network-wide technical investigations and root cause/corrective actions
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency and working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
Travel: Up to 25-35% within the assigned territory (APAC, European Union, and United States)

Required

Advanced Degree with 10+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering and/or Technical role within an Aftermarket MRO or Aerospace Manufacturing environment; OR Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of relevant industry experience
Must have a valid US Passport and support travel demands
Must be able to obtain travel visas required to support travel within the assigned territory (APAC, European Union, and United States)

Preferred

Degree in STEM field; Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering fields preferred
Advanced experience working in Repair Station MRO environment, particularly in turbine engine Disassembly, Assembly and Test (DAT) environment
Strong technical and functional knowledge of turbine engines and/or Pratt & Whitney products
Experience leading a global team and managing projects across time zones
Project management experience and ability to manage projects across time zones
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and influence leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively and proactively communicate to and influence leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma)
