Responsibilities
Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages is good to have, including Spark, Java, Scala/Python, and AWS services such as S3, EMR, RDS, and DynamoDB
Experience in Python and skills in Agile methodology, Java/J2EE tech stack, consuming and building APIs, Spring framework, SQL, Oracle database, XML, SPLUNK, Bitbucket, Jenkins, automation, and unit testing
Experience with AWS and Kubernetes platform is a plus
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices in cloud and data
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passion for building an innovative culture
Ability to develop reusable code components, enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and provide key process improvement recommendations
Understanding of software skills including business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
Strong experience in Java and cloud development
Ability to communicate appropriately with different audiences, from technical colleagues to business managers
