Responsibilities

Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials
Liaise between suppliers and internal teams (procurement, production, quality, engineering) to resolve delivery or material issues
Maintain accurate records of order status, shipment dates, and supplier communications
Identify potential supply chain risks or delays and proactively implement solutions
Update ERP/MRP systems with accurate delivery and order status
Assist in vendor performance evaluation based on delivery, quality, and responsiveness
Coordinate with logistics and receiving teams to confirm inbound shipments
Support the purchasing team in managing order modifications, cancellations, or returns
Ensure compliance with aerospace industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., AS9100), and internal policies

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred
A minimum of two years' experience in purchasing, expediting, or supply chain, preferably in aerospace or a high-reliability manufacturing environment
Familiarity with aerospace materials, components, and supply chain requirements
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, INFOR)
