Responsibilities
Welding: Perform MIG welding, and ideally TIG welding, to assemble parts and components
Fitting: Take a set of drawings and a collection of parts and accurately fit them together
Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper assembly and welding of parts
Quality Control: Inspect and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a welder/fitter with strong MIG welding skills; TIG welding experience is a plus
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Competence in fitting parts accurately according to specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Preferred
Previous experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
