Senior Platform Cybersecurity Engineer

Contract Professionals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Engineering Manager to lead critical Cyber and C5ISR engineering initiatives that support next-generation ground combat platforms. Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for Cyber engineering activities and ensure integrated, compliant system designs
Develop and manage system requirements, including Space, Weight, Power & Cooling, and Reliability/Maintenance allocations (SWaP-CRaM)
Drive Cyber and C5ISR best practices, tools, and training across engineering teams
Coordinate requirements, architectures, and system design changes, ensuring alignment across cross-functional groups
Lead and support trade studies and structured decision-making for Cyber and subsystem designs
Oversee verification plans and testing execution, including production and field shakedown activities
Participate in and lead troubleshooting, RCCA investigations, and issue resolution for development and production programs
Prepare and review design milestone artifacts, CDRLs, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance
Evaluate emerging Cyber and C5ISR technologies for potential integration into combat vehicle platforms
Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with Integrated Product Teams on threat analysis, requirement decomposition, and compliance efforts

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Cyber certifications and management credentials considered)
10+ years of relevant engineering experience
Experience with military or engineering development programs
Background in embedded systems engineering and Cyber engineering
Knowledge of Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) and Cyber Tabletop Exercises (CTTX)
Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs), POA&Ms, and other compliance documents
Familiarity with federal Cyber regulations (e.g., NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53)
Experience interpreting high-level requirements and flowing them down to subsystem and technology areas
Understanding of Cyber-physical security, embedded systems, electronics, and software principles
Experience with modeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML
Ability to lead technical teams in Cyber or system development environments
Ability to travel up to 15% (mostly domestic, some international)
Must be able to work on and around military vehicles; ability to pass ASR test may be required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual restrictions
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred

Familiarity with military vehicles or automotive systems is a plus
