Responsibilities

Perform the following types of reliability analyses for aerospace development programs:

Reliability Prediction

Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)

Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)

Flight Safety Probability of Loss of Control (PLOC) Analysis

Safety Hazard Analysis (SHA)

Common Mode Analysis (CMA)

Physics of Failure (PoF)

Built-in-Test (BIT) coverage and system monitoring architecture development

Provide Reliability/Safety team leadership on programs involving the systems level integration of complex hardware such as motor control electronics, flight control computers, linear/rotary electromechanical/hydraulic actuation

Evaluate Reliability/Safety requirements to recommend strategies, exceptions, ground rules and caveats to ensure compliance and reduce program risk

Required

A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or aerospace Engineering

Five (5) + years' experience as a Reliability Engineer
