Responsibilities
Maintain composting equipment, including water trucks, conveyors, and screening systems
Perform manual labor including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
Conduct basic plumbing tasks to maintain irrigation and leachate systems
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and mechanical issues on-site
Use basic computer programs to log data, track inventory, and monitor system performance
Assist with facility upkeep, including cleaning, organizing, and maintaining safe work areas
Follow safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience operating water trucks or similar heavy equipment
Basic plumbing knowledge and hands-on repair experience
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Proven ability to lift and carry heavy materials (50 lbs+)
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
Comfortable working in an environment with organic waste and natural odors
