Responsibilities

Develop and deliver cross-functionally aligned technical solutions that meet program cost, timing, and quality objectives across the vehicle’s electrical, software, autonomy, and propulsion domains
Drive weekly technical and domain reviews, supporting the Chief Engineer and Program Manager to ensure timely issue resolution and strategic alignment
Establish and communicate a clear product vision, leveraging benchmarking insights to inform domain strategy and drive innovation
Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, design, manufacturing, and operations to ensure technical excellence, cost and manufacturing efficiency, and long-term product quality
Refine and support processes that eliminate duplication and accelerate progress, enhancing team performance, engagement, and customer satisfaction
Conduct effective risk management throughout the vehicle development lifecycle to ensure on-time and high-quality program execution
Support the Vehicle Line Director or Vehicle Program Director, acting as a key technical and executional partner across the program

Required

5+ years experience on a program team or similar experience
Launch experience on a vehicle program
DRE experience and or Program Manager background
Exposure to multiple functional areas, with emphasis on software development, LV & HV electrical architecture, autonomy, or mobile application development
Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with internal and external partners
Understanding of engineering theory and principles of operation of mechanical/electrical systems
Able to work efficiently under high amount of work/stress
High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and complex
Knowledge of engineering software and systems as it pertains to job-related area
