They are seeking a Summer-Fall 2026 Co-op-Intern for the Cell Culture Development team, where the candidate will design and conduct cell culture experiments, contributing to the development and optimization of processes for therapeutic protein production.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with his/her supervisor to design, plan and conduct cell culture experiments to investigate how process parameters modulate product quality attributes and process performance

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work both individually on cell culture experiments as well as part of the larger cell culture team to support group project work

The candidate will develop a diverse skill set in cell culture development platforms potentially including seed train development, media development, high throughput techniques, and benchtop bioreactors

The candidate will develop an understanding of cell culture processes and how to use this understanding to address process optimization problems within the context of development, characterization, and scale-up of cell processes for biologics development

Required

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, or related field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2027

Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship

Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship
