This role will be instrumental in redesigning and optimizing VMware infrastructure as the organization transitions to a Hardware as a Service (HWaaS) platform.

Responsibilities
Lead architectural design, system migration, and administration of VMware environments, ensuring secure, optimized, and scalable operations
Collaborate with network, storage, and security teams
Drive automation, optimization, and standardization across platforms
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Deep knowledge and experience with VMware vCenter and VMware system administration
Experience migrating from VMware 7.x to 8.x
Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, VPNs, VLANs, and server deployment
Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration, including patching and sustainment
Familiarity with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Power Distribution Units (PDU)
Knowledge of enclave security and firewall technologies (e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ASA)
Preferred
Experience with VMware NSX
Knowledge of Hardware as a Service (HWaaS) platform
Strong background in system optimization, automation, and infrastructure design
Ability to translate customer requirements into secure, production-ready solutions
