Cash Posting Specialist
Creative Solutions in Healthcare is an expanding long-term care facility dedicated to financial accuracy and excellence. They are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Posting Specialist to manage payments and cash transactions while ensuring the integrity of financial records in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Manage Cash Transactions: Process incoming payments (cash, checks, and credit card transactions) accurately and in a timely manner
Ensure Compliance: Follow the BILLING SOP MANUAL protocols and guidelines for each payor while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Reconcile Accounts: Prepare and make daily bank deposits, reconcile cash collections with receipts, and balance deposits against bank totals
Post Payments: Accurately post payments from insurance and patients, analyze EOBs for appeal or reprocessing needs, and allocate funds appropriately
Handle Refunds: Process refund requests from insurance, research issues, and post recoupments as needed
Maintain Records: Scan and upload all correspondence related to patient and insurance payments and ensure accurate documentation in compliance with company policies
Support Reconciliation: Participate in monthly reconciliations and maintain up-to-date spreadsheets for deposits and exception reports
Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Address concerns or issues promptly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality
Qualification
Required
