Responsibilities

Acts as receptionist, greeting and interacting with patients, visitors and others

Performs various unit clerical tasks including mailing, messages, record-keeping, typing, and filing

Handles patient appointment system

Interacts with all others in a manner consistent with excellent hospital public relations

Maintains safe, clean, and organized environment in all clerical areas

Respects patients' rights at all times identified within the institution

Assists in maintaining supplies at appropriate inventory levels

Performs efficiently in emergency situations as directed

Appropriately seeks information or assistance from administrator, or other resource people

Required

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required

One (1) to Two (2) years administrative clerical experience preferably in a patient care environment- or- current active YNHHS internal experience covering Business Associate/ Unit Associate responsibilities

Prior computer usage strongly preferred
