Responsibilities

Collaborating closely with internal finance stakeholders to understand business use cases Identifying improvement opportunities, defining requirements and scope
Taking ownership of developing and executing new and existing solutions while adhering to committed timelines and providing regular status updates
Developing a deep understanding of our enterprise billing system and relevant data to create best in-class solutions through streamlined queries and workflows
Creating robust solutions to assess risks and provide analytical support to Zoom's subject-matter experts, including but not limited to, assistance with audit support
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of processes, system configurations, and automation workflows
Partnering with technical data and engineering teams to identify, ingest, validate, and transform data from new sources for use in reporting
Responsible for maintaining data quality and consistency with internal partners through effective reconciliation processes and procedures
Authoring, reviewing, and facilitating alignment on Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) by incorporating stakeholder feedback and ensuring cross-functional buy-in on project scope and deliverables
Supporting requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT) during enterprise systems implementations and cross-functional projects
Ensuring data security of relevant data stored in cloud systems by monitoring role access and partnering with data platform teams to provide recommendations
Reviewing, developing, and enhancing new and existing processes. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and data privacy rules and regulations

Required

3+ years of experience in similar a role providing operational and technical data analytical support within a corporate team or a global consulting firm
Experience with bridging the gap between technical and business teams in technology solutions and process improvements
2+ years of direct experience writing and reviewing SQL queries, within a finance, accounting, or tax capacity
High level of detail-orientation with an eye for accuracy is an absolute must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation
Continuous improvement mindset to bring best practices and efficiencies to repeatable processes

Preferred

Experience with Python, VBA, or similar programming languages is nice to have
Experience with AI/LLM, RPA, Alteryx, Jira, Confluence, and Tableau are nice to have
Experience with interpreting and extracting large volumes of tax and/or transaction data from enterprise systems (Zuora, Avalara, Fonoa, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.) is nice to have
Experience building solutions subject to SOX controls, including interfacing with internal/external auditors and data privacy laws, is a nice-to-have
