Responsibilities

Assist with installation, configuration, and management of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and AWS environments to ensure optimal performance and security

Collaborate with teams to integrate AWS services, enhancing system capabilities and operational efficiency

Ensure compliance with advanced security directives, including the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Support system lifecycle management activities, including system provisioning, patching, and maintenance of RHEL environments to ensure optimal performance and security

Perform user administration to manage user access in accordance with security policies and support problem resolution

Engage in on-the-job training, including self-study, mentor/mentee relationships, and hands-on learning to develop your skills in Linux and cloud technologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program objectives in an Agile environment

Required

Possess a currently active Top Secret with SCI US Security Clearance (TS/SCI), or have completed a Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the past 5 years

Experience working with Linux

Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering support for Linux (RHEL) server or workstation

Ability to obtain security certifications such as Security+ (Sec+) or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications per DoD Instruction 8570 (8140)

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
